This assignment explores the application of strategic management literature to practical case models/examples of public sector management. Assume you have been hired as an outside consultant to prepare an analysis of a public agency, department, or non-profit organization. For the purposes of this assignment, find a public agency, department, or non-profit organization that you know from personal experience. Assume that your analysis will be presented to the senior leadership team for evaluation.

Research strategic management models by reviewing at least three scholarly articles on various models. Then, select one distinct model in the literature and write an analysis of how the model is reflected in the organization.

Be sure to include the following:

Identify your selected organization and your selected model for the analysis.

Determine the principles or components of the model.

Predict how the organization would function based on these principles.

Explain the relationship between model theory and behavior.

Length: 5-7 pages, not including title or reference pages

References: Include a minimum of 5 scholarly resources.

Your assignment should demonstrate thoughtful consideration of the ideas and concepts presented in the course by providing new thoughts and insights relating directly to this topic. Your response should reflect scholarly writing and current APA standards. Be sure to adhere to Northcentral University’s Academic Integrity Policy.
